Did Conor McGregor have legitimate concerns about being poisoned/assassinated by Putin?

You know they hung out back when.

Well, not necessarily so much as "hung out" as Putin invited Mc-G to attend a soccer match in the mother land and....

The rest we don't really know.

I mean, kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't type of situation.

Turn down an offer from a crazed war-lord notorious for assassinations of pretty anyone he pleases?

Or attend the event and tread on egg shells the entire time, hoping and wishing nothing you do offends the host?

I mean, you can't really blame Mc-G, position he was in when he took to social media after the fact, praising Putin on being an outstanding host and "one of the finest leaders of our time".

Anything less and he may have found himself getting struck by a bolt of lightening.

In physics we trust....... (as insanely difficult to decipher as it may be)
