New AV receiver

Good morning/afternoon,

I'm interested in picking up a new AV receiver as our "old reliable" Denon1912, which we purchased many years ago from yourselves, is stuck in a power loop cycle and doesn't seem inclined to recover. I'm looking at what our best option to replace it would be, in a similarly featured 7.1 AV receiver? Cheaper would be better obviously but we're willing to stretch for something that will last for a good long while.

I should mention that we only use the existing receiver for home cinema, we don't use the multi-zone functionality at all so it's not important for it's replacement either.

If you were happy with the Denon I would recommend the current model, the AVRX2700. It would be a more up to date amp with 4K passthrough as well as music streaming features and also supports 7.1 and Dolby Atmos. The Denons would still be the best of the mid range amps on the market:

Thanks for the reply David, and sorry for the delayed reply. Turned out that one of the TV remotes, after being used as a chew toy, had started broadcasting a On/Off on the Denon's frequency. Removing the batteries from the remote addressed this but not before the constant cycling had blown out our rears. Apologies again for not responding sooner.
