Mouse Woes

The laptop has an intergraded mouse button, the left button has taken been used a lot and now is feeling a bit soft and is taking more time to return to its start position and I've noticed that its sitting slightly lower in its casing than the right button. The laptop has an intergraded mouse button, the left button has taken been used a lot and now is feeling a bit soft and is taking more time to return to its start position and I've noticed that its sitting slightly lower in its casing than the right button.
As its a loner I don't want to mess with it a lot but I have to send it back as I got it, so how do I fix this? afaik its not been dropped or had anything spilled on it, most likely is that it has dust or crumbs stuck in its casing.

or plug in a usb mouse into the laptop, maybe deactivate the laptop mouse in windows settings
