Anyone purchase from PiHut recently?

As the title says, has anyone purchased from PiHut recently for delivery to Ireland? My reading of their site would suggest that they are not collecting VAT so even a modest order will be subject to VAT charges and handling fee once it lands here. For the heatsink and case I want to order it doesn't seem like good value anymore.

    Any advice appreciated.

Thats correct, they don't collect UK for export orders, so you will have to play the relevant customs charge (at least Irish VAT, depending on the value of the order) + fee when it lands in Ireland

    Hey,

Have ordered plenty from them previously, they do not list VAT as part of it, brexit and all that, the posting is what can bite you

Ordered a case recently, went from UK, shipped to Germany, a day or two there, then over here via AnPost, then get a text message to say there's a custom charge applied and to cough up extra on top of it, so baseline figure is Post/Packing 5quid sterling, non-priority postage that is, on top of the euro equivalent price, then depending on the package size/weight, maybe an extra 15euro on top of it after a few days.

Just be mindful, generally, if you order as many stuff from them, packaged all in one, be cheaper than ordering one thing with a customs charge on top of it.
