I'll be off fibre for 3 months I need a temporary connection, I used to have a regular SIM card (years ago) from three, plugged to a 4G modem and it was working just fine (20€ a months).

Three had a fair usage data cap, but I was always over (terabits month after month for years) and never had any issue.

just checking is that still working? anyone currently use that?

I left my 4G modem in France during last holiday but I'll buy a a U-LTE-Pro-EU + external antenna https://eu.store.ui.com/products/unifi-lte-pro?_pos=1&_sid=c89404ee8&_ss=r

Not much help but I last used it 8 months ago. It was working fine then. Maybe on midband forum they might have more info.

Your linked Uni is LTE CAT 4, dont know how you manage to get over TB per month with it, but perhaps possible.

For a similar price you could have new Huawei B818 LTE CAT19 4G, or used one for much less - way more advanced LTE tech.

    Three PAYG still unlimited*.
