Oh so you got it from a tabloid in April, and according to them:

"Russian forces are running out of key military equipment and weapons as their parts are made in Ukrainian factories, it has been claimed.

Vladimir Putin's war effort is ironically reliant on the manufacturing power of the nation he's invaded, with his warships, tanks, missiles and fighter jets needing components from the opposition, sources say."

    Whereas you wrote:

and they have no cruise missiles left ( march story)

I don't see any mention that there are "no cruise missiles" left. What's the source for that?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,245 ✭✭✭Cheerful S

Running out of cruise missiles because of Ukraine shouldnt Russia have depleted the supplies since the war started in Feb?

     June now.

This is too much for you, this newspaper headline is 2 months old and it's still fighting

Of course, the context doesn't make any sense but that what the report was saying Russia was running out of cruise missiles two months ago. When is this going to happen here? You running out of cruise missiles in March and early April then your stock levels are drastically low at that time.

I've been reading these reports online for months and nothing's changed, so this is just one report, countless others. No sign at all Russia is running out of missiles. If the newspaper shock headline is correct, they should be no cruise missile strikes at all here.

    Again you wrote:

and they have no cruise missiles left ( march story)

First of all, it would be utterly nonsensical for Russia to fire every single one of it's cruise missiles so it has none left. Another leap to suggest having nothing left in March, which was only a month into the war.

Where is this March story which claims Russia has no cruise missiles left?

Looks like ISW got itself in trouble listening to Ukraine bullshit stories about laying a trap for Russian forces inside Severodonetsk. Backtracking is great, the comments from the idiots are gold.

ISW knows they got lied to, but they're using language to avoid telling the truth about what they found out.

The Ukrainian flag supporters comments are gold

Hilarious. You completely evade the question and deflect onto something else.

However, in an interview with Interfax last week, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov dismissed claims that Russia was running out of precision-guided missiles.

"If you believe everything that they say on the other side, Russia should have run out of missiles in March. But for some reason it didn't end," Borisov said to Interfax. "The military-industrial complex supplies our army with all the necessary range of missiles in the required volumes. The stocks of modern high-precision missiles and ammunition are enough to fulfill all the tasks assigned to the Russian Armed Forces."

Even the Russians understand when you claim your stocks are low you only got a limited window before you run out. These stories were everywhere in March, but June air cruise missiles are still flying to targets across Ukraine

It appears that when someone like you surrounds themselves in bullshit and lies, that they take an illogic approach when people correct themselves.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,033 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

So there is no report or story from March which claimed the Russians had no cruise missiles left.

You could have just admitted you made a mistake.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,245 ✭✭✭Cheerful S

If you believe everything that they say on the other side, Russia should have run out of missiles in March. But for some reason it didn't end," Borisov said to Interfax.

What exactly am I apologizing for? The Russians are making fun of western statements about their missile inventory, and a specific month was even given.

Ukraine lied for days that they retook most of the city back in some made-up fake counteroffensive. In truth, this never happened and ISW was forced to issue an apology to avoid looking foolish. They don't filter much of what comes in from the Ukraine side,

There was just no way to hide this one, Russia was in control of over 70 percent of the city and Ukraine was pretending for days they held 70 percent of it. They claim they brought Russians into a trap, killed countless soldiers, destroyed equipment in this trap, and counterattacked.  The end was all bullshit.

All that mess highlighted in the two tweets from ISW, i warned you about this, but I'm sure this will be ignored like most stuff on here.,

Most humans will admit when they are wrong. Conspiracy theorists won’t and they find fault with those why can admit when they are wrong. It’s very messed up.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,245 ✭✭✭Cheerful S

You get this kind of crap when you stop hearing about the other side and start printing imaginary battle scenes as real. The latest one from Kherson says there's a major counteroffensive going on. Bullshit. When things are really bad, it seems to happen, and from what I'm seeing, the east is falling apart for Ukraine. Might only have a few days to retreat before it's all over in Lugansk. Donbass is very bleak too,. Russia is getting really close to Sloviansk. The Ukrainians could lose a large portion of their best forces over the next few weeks. Can they defend the rest of Ukraine with conscripts?

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,033 ✭✭✭✭Dohnjoe

Who's Borisov and what reports is he referencing?

Again, I see no report or story that Russia has no cruise missiles left. Where are these claims?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,245 ✭✭✭Cheerful S

Ukraine now seems to admit that at least half of its heavy equipment has been destroyed by Russia. I bet it'll be higher if Ukraine admits even this. They're desperate for more heavy weapons from the west, having lost so much gear. The large standing army still takes a long time to grind down. You've got 500,000 or more people who are willing to fight back the Russian army that war takes time. Russia soldiers are doing well without mobilization.

Quote Brig. Gen. Volodymyr Karpenko, Ukraine's land forces command logistics commander

I'm not going to talk about the anti-tank guided missiles or anti-tank guided weapons for now. I’m just talking about heavy weapons. As of today, we have approximately 30 to 40, sometimes up to 50 percent of losses of equipment as a result of active combat. So, we have lost approximately 50 percent. … Approximately 1,300 infantry fighting vehicles have been lost, 400 tanks, 700 artillery systems.

Finally the good guys are winning, another victory against the global elites.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,245 ✭✭✭Cheerful S

I quoted them for laughs. Many board pundits got nothing right since the Kyiv operation ended. Dreams about Ukrainians taking back Kherson and marching over the border have turned out wrong. Everyone can see now the Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk battles are pretty much over now. The Ukrainian army is a beaten force. When you lose your best forces, you rely on conscripts to defend the rest of the country. The forces you're left with aren't hardened, so you can make far more gains once the east is taken.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,485 ✭✭✭Fighting Tao

It’s great to hear what a Russian thinks of their dear leader throwing conscripts into a meat grinder with a gun at their backs at the same time. You should post hourly Kremlin updates.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,245 ✭✭✭Cheerful S

Ukraine received military aid that outstripped what Russia paid for its whole army, navy, air force, and nuclear forces in a year. Nato is involved in decision-making, and its structure manages Zelensky's war effort. Don't think it's impressive that Russia keeps outsmarting Nato logistically and planning. Then you don't see the bigger picture. Russia must be winning the intelligence space battle against the US. I actually thought Nato could beat Russia on the battlefield. They can't predict and stop Russia from overrunning Ukraine forces, so I doubt that could stop them from winning against Nato forces.

Ukraine has five mobilizations across the country and hasn't stopped Russia from reducing its force there in the east. Your fantasy world ignores all these battles are won by Russia. You guys believed the western media that the Russians lacked morale, had no food, most of their tanks got destroyed, and operations were stalled. Wins in the east show what the real truth is, not that fake crap you think.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,485 ✭✭✭Fighting Tao

    No one is winning.

Russia is losing though. Economically, and through bad management has lost substantial amounts of people and equipment during the war they started for no other reason than a land grab. The main run for Kiev at the start was a major loss for your comrades. It can’t be dressed up. You take glee for the rape and murder of women and children because it’s your comrades “winning”. Sick individual.

    Some questions for you

1: Do you honestly think that Russia would win a conventional war (Tanks, Guns, men on the ground) against NATO?

2: If Russia eventually takes over the whole of Ukraine, what do you think happens then? Do they move onto another country (Lithuania, Estonian, Moldova etc)?

3: Do you think the world will just say "ah well Ukraine lost so let's go back to pre war agreements and welcome Russia back onto the world stage"?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,245 ✭✭✭Cheerful S

There's no evidence in the last 100 years of history Russia would be defeated in a quick war, so I think it'll be a tough fight.

Since 1945, the US army hasn't really fought a high-tech army. When they encountered peasant armies the superior US army looked flat. They left Saigon in a hurry and gave up to the Viet Cong, and in the Korean War, the Chinese peasant army drove them out of North Korea.

Since Saddam's army ran off, the American army is pretty much untested for decades. Fighting poor Arabs in the middle east isn't really testing your army for battles. It's hard for the other side to hit back successfully when your uniform is a piece of cloth and the only real weapon you have is an AK-47 and RPG. Hollywood war movies isn't the reality of how prepared Nato would be here!!

What is ignored about Ukraine. Their armed forces are huge, they have more tanks, missiles, and anti-aircraft systems than most EU countries The morale was high in the first weeks and months of the war, and it's a large country that is very urban, there aren't long stretches of open wasteland. Just travel 50km to 70km and you'll see villages, towns, and cities everywhere. Not really surprising that there's a hard fight from one area to the next. Ukraine has been building up its defenses since 2014. It's not like there's been peace either. In spite of the entire Nato watching its back, Russia seems to have been able to move its forces into advantageous positions now. Yes, there is no evidence to claim Nato would beat Russia.

Russia's red line was over Ukraine and got ignored by the west. What happens next the war will end, war won by the Russian side or treaty Ukraine gives up land.. It's a future without complications though.

There's a lot of uncertainty here since the west has declared an unofficial war on Russia. Putin has every right to declare war on the west since they're arming a foreign power to kill Russians. Since Putin has some control left over his anger and rage nothing resembling WW3 started yet . Looking at those clowns at G7 they could drag us into WW3.

Brics is 3.7 billion people and growing- the G7/west is 700 million. Since the crisis, Putin has outplayed the west. They tried to crash the Russian economy, but the ruble actually grew. Rapid inflation and talk of an imminent recession is what is going on inside the EU. I actually brought this point up in ano her thread months ago and was disbelieved now we seeing it the inflation and economies in the EU worried about a recession and energy and cost of living..

West has driven emerging nations to side with Russia and China. They thought all the actions were good , but backfired on them massively..
