I have noticed that Eir are putting up a lot of 4G/5G masts these days and a huge roll out of 5G. I have noticed that Vodafone seem to be lagging behind and are not really upgrading their network much in comparison. Very limited 5G roll out and still a lot of old 3G masts. Some big towns still only have 3G and for the cost…

Some big towns still only have 3G and for the cost of their service in this day and age i thought they should be at least 4G. Anyone work for Vodafone on here? Are there planned upgrades soon? I’m thinking of switching to Eir because it does seem to be the stronger network and more modern. Thoughts?
