    HI,

    I have given afternoon tea as a present to a family member last year. They really enjoyed it. Might try somewhere else different this time. Was thinking of maybe the GlennRoyal? I heard Killashee is also good. Any recommendations appreciated.

    Glen Royal ,certainly outside in its environment ,can not compete with Lyons Estate ,K Club or Kilashee .

    Finnstown House in Lucan is decent too, and accessible off the N4.

    Try Barberstown Castle. The ladies in my life rate it above K Club and Carton for afternoon tea!

    I’ll second Barberstown Castle. I have been there a few years ago ( pre virus ) and have nothing but praise for the fare.
