Hi all, just a quick question on the amount of tax i am having to pay. just looking at a docket here from late january , fortnights pay gross 1729 and paid 951 in taxes of some sort or another between pensions etc. Finding it very tiresome to see so much deducted every fortnight. anyone any ideas on how to avoid paying so much? im not on emergency tax or anything just farming part time at home as well. Wouldnt be worth my while getting a permanant job at this rate, im only Sub/part time work on the docket, so its just part time contract. would i be crucified by tax on a 22 hr CID contract? Surely wouldnt be worth the hassle to commute any further than 30 mins either to be hit with that tax? any experiences on this ?
