Health test for 43 year old male

I haven't seen a doctor for a long time.

In general I feel fine but I think it's time to have a health test.

I'm thinking of asking for Cholesterol and PSA to be checked.

Is there anything else anyone would recommend?

Just ask your GP for a physical. They'll know what to look out for and what tests to do based on age and history.

Just to let you know, they'll probably do a prostate exam so make sure you're very "clean" down there.

I doubt that if he's having a PSA blood test. Now if the PSA test is high then there might be an actual examination.

Go for a full heath check if you can afford it. Do you have a medical insurance? If so, you may pay only a small fraction of the cost.

Do not waste time and money on private health checks. Your own GP is the best person to advise you.
