Hi, a family member was awarded social welfare/job seekers payment last year and was subsequently cut off and is now being told to repay the debt. I should state that all information given on the application was correct and legitimate. It was clearly their error that she was awarded the given amount per week, and now has no income of her own. The central debt unit are ordering her to repay €50 per week until the debt is repaid. She is quite stressed about the situation so any feedback or advice would be gratefully appreciated

This is the site feedback forum, and nothing do with benefits payments.

But since there's been some discussion lately, what lead you to post this in this completely unrelated forum? Are you following links from a welcome email or similar?
