Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This part appears to be leaking, it ls connected in hot press. What is this part called and what does it do. It looks like a valve of sorts when I turn the red cap it releases water from another pipe??

Its a PRV (pressure relief valve) when you turn the red knob it opens the valve, if its leaking from the body then it needs replacing.

From the left, you have the mains (water) supplying a pressure reducing valve also called a PRV where the pressure is reduced, it may be the cold water supply to the whole house or just to a unvented HW cylinder, you might have a look. you might also look down on top of this red cap and you will/should see its setting, something like 3 bar or 6 bar, post back its setting.
