Have two tickets for sale for the Jags Vs Bills if anyone is interested. Face value. Said I'd put it up here before I put them on the ticket page on facebook.

Anyone get or try to get tickets for London games today?

Demand was crazy. 400,000 plus in front of me in the queue. Luckily my mate managed to get some but was hard work

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,117 ✭✭✭Ohmeha

Yes it's hard work alright but I got my ticket for Titans/Ravens, got into the queue at around 36k on one account and 230k on another account still waiting on that account now with 65k ahead. It does appear they genuinely randomised it this year don't think there is any clever tricks to beat it

I had a brief panic at 12.50pm when my wait in the queue ended and it routed back to the home page saying timed out. I chanced clicking on my profile icon and one of options sent me into purchase screen for both games thank christ

I noticed aside from another price increase they also bumped up some seating areas into a higher price category i.e some seats category 6 last year now category 5 this year

Where do I go for tickets?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,922 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

I could only get single seats for the Tottenham games having been c. 196,000th in the queue so didn't bother. All in on the Chiefs game which goes on sale on Tuesday but I don't fancy my chances.

Just the 662,000 ahead of me in the queue.

1 million people ahead of me...........🤣

You'd have to think that expanding the international series or any European franchise would be focussing on Germany and the continent.

That many people in the queue for tickets yet the London games are yet to sell out. With a game in Mexico next year, I could see London dropping to two games and maybe two in Germany, with one in the Bernabeu the next year or two also.

I got tickets so I'm off to Frankfurt.

Managed to get in for 2 tickets, payment went through but no confirmation from ticketmaster. What a shitshow

I'm going to the Jags vs Bills game if any fellow Paddies would like to have a pint!?

I'll be the only Irish lad in an Arizona jersey, so I'll be handy to find.

    HI there

We got two tickets for patriots this year - already the reseller site prices are crazy - similar location tickets to what I got are selling for 800 each. Flights and accom booked. Its shameful the price of accommodation here in Ireland to what I booked for this year in Frankfurt and last year in Munich. hoping Patriots will be after starting well this season. Looking forward to seeing some of Frankfurt - lesson learned from last year is because Europe is +1 hour you have that less daylight coming form Ireland so flying late Friday and will leave a little later on Monday this time. If anyone knows the city and would like to share some highlights that would be great

    cheers

if anyone is shifting Ravens/Titans tickets hit me up!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 128 ✭✭FantasyFool

Just a heads up for anyone that doesnt have tickets. Plenty returns have been showing up on the official eticketing site over the last week. Got 3 together myself today for the Bills/Jags game.

Anyone heading over for Bills Jags this weekend?

My trip to Frankfurt went very well last weekend. Arrived on Saturday morning and went to the ChampionShip that was docked on the river. Very cool setup by the Chiefs with the Lombardi and a load of other memorabilia and fan related activities on board.

On Sunday morning I went to a pregame function which featured Dante Hall and Steve Smith Sr. Mostly Chiefs fans, as would be the case at the stadium.

Deutsche Bank Park was great from a spectator point of view and the atmosphere was really good. The game itself was far from a classic but there was enough narrative and drama to keep it interesting until the end.

Well worth all the effort to be there for it!

Is it usually schedule release date post-draft when the opponents and dates are announced for the international games?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,661 ✭✭✭✭ArmaniJeanss

Last year it was 10th May (see post #44 on previous page), so just a few days before the complete 272-game schedule was released. I'd expect something similar this year, though the earlier the better obviously.

Possible Europe NFL International matchup combinations for 2024 are below. 49ers and Cowboys are long overdue an International trip I would be thinking one or both will be over this season. I'm guessing Bears will play Jags at Tottenham making it the 2nd year in row the Jags will do a London double-header. There should be a game at Tottenham on Sunday October 13th as that is the middle of the UEFA Nations League match week 3/4 fixtures with England playing Greece at Wembley on October 10th meaning Spurs would only have to play one away game with the two NFL games at their stadium, so with that I would think it will be Sunday October 6th for the first Tottenham game, Sunday October 13th for the second Tottenham games with the Jags Wembley game on Sunday October 20th

Jacksonville Jaguars home opponents at Wembley: Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns

Chicago Bears home opponents at Tottenham: Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots

Minnesota Vikings home opponents at Tottenham: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons, New York Jets

Carolina Panthers home opponents at Munich: Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals

49ers played in Mexico recently I think so would not be too sure about them coming to Europe so soon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,117 ✭✭✭Ohmeha

While Mexico City is an International game San Francisco is about the same miles to Mexico City as an East coast game so 49ers likely are still overdue a long haul European international game last time they were over was 2013 for the Cowboys last time in Europe was 2014. While the home teams for the 4 London/Munich games are not currently standout teams I would still expect NFL won't be that stupid to piss off European fans by having all 4 games with terrible matchups and so I'd be optimistic some of the away opponents will include current play-off teams

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,661 ✭✭✭✭ArmaniJeanss

Looks like Ohmeha (post 77) was right about Jags @ Bears. CBS reporting that as a likely game, meaning another Jags double header. With the possibility of a triple-header in the future.

Full schedule release is expected on May 15th, but expect prime time games to leak over the weekend so that networks can announce they have Chiefs @ 49ers, etc.

I think the dates and venues look to be a lock now just a question over the away opponents, some away teams more speculated over others. Bears/Jags at Tottenham looks to be a lock, speculation over Texans or 49ers playing the Vikings which would make sense for at least one of the SB fancied play-off level teams to be over

It would be a disaster if Jags eventually played three times I think fans will get sick of them clogging up the limited London matchups

    October 6th Tottenham: Vikings versus 49ers/Texans/Cardinals ?

October 13th Tottenham: Bears versus Jags

    October 20th Wembley: Jags versus Patriots/Browns/Jets ?

London matchups to be announced later today during Good Morning Football around lunchtime. NFL schedule leaks appearing suggest it will be Jets/Vikings and Patriots/Jags know for sure later, if so I think this year will be one of the poorer London lineups with two Jags appearances and the teams like the Vikings/Jets were only recently over in London though the Patriots and Aaron Rodgers will add the fanfare effect

October 6th Tottenham: Vikings versus Jets (other rumoured teams 49ers/Texans/Cardinals)

October 13th Tottenham: Bears versus Jags

October 20th Wembley: Jags versus Patriots (other rumoured teams Browns/Jets)

Hi Folks - have travelled last two years to Germany. Going to go to London for the patriots game this year. Does anyone have any recommendations of places to stay, thinking of flying out of Cork Fri and back Monday so ease of access back to the airport on Monday make sense. The German Cities had very straight forward access to their airports. Aside from the regular London areas to go is there specific NFL themed areas these weekends that are worth visiting?

    Thanks all

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,136 ✭✭✭Jofspring

For accommodation I usually stay in the Shoreditch/City of London area. There is an Ibis there. It's only a few minutes walk to Liverpool Street station which brings you directly out to Spurs stadium. Liverpool Street also has the train to Stansted airport and easy links to other tub stations like Victoria for the Gatwick express. Shoreditch has a nice market called Spitalfields. They usually do a few NFL themed events around London but it will be closer to the time those would be announced.

This is great advice thanks - am with you on the Liverpool street thing as well in relation to coming and going to Stansted. the only problem is the patriots game is on in Wembley but that doesn't matter as Liverpool street will be a good base for getting out again on monday morning

Jaguars v Patriots in Wembley has already gone on sale and appears to be sold out.

The other two games go on sale on 20th June.

Got lucky in the random allocation and ended up getting 4 seats together for the Jets/Vikings. Last saw the Jets live in 2014 so looking forward to it. For anyone that didnt get tickets- a load of returns ended up on the official site 2 weeks before the games last year so dont loose hope!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,117 ✭✭✭Ohmeha

Thankfully I managed to get tickets for Bears/Jags easily enough from 47k in the queue considering I already bought my flights/trains

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 955 ✭✭✭tgdaly

Munich tickets sold out, got awful luck with my que number this morning so didn't get to grab one. Will have to try pick one up on the ticket exchange

Jets, Browns and as usual Jaguars are the London home teams next season.

3 of the worst teams in the league.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,117 ✭✭✭Ohmeha

Also the Jags will inevitably be one of the away opponents at Tottenham yet again to stink the lineup even further. Maybe for a live game on UK terrestrial TV the NFL might still throw in one current marquee team of the two other away teams but otherwise NFL are making so much money out of those 3 games with their inflation busting price increases there is no more incentive for them to make any more attractive London matchups. I've gone over to Tottenham 5 times now after the Bears/Jags game the experience and expense of the trips was wearing off for me anyway

Fingers crossed we will get positive confirmation soon of this Steelers game at Croke Park and look forward to the Oasis-like lottery purchasing tickets fighting it out with the US and European NFL fans willing to travel to Dublin
