Hi, I have a gravity fed system with an external oil boiler and an old programmer ‘flash programmer 31031’ and want to replace with a hive mini. Can someone advise on the wiring as the existing system doesn’t look like it matches the dual receiver set up that hive recommends - not enough wires (see photos)

    thanks,

    james

You don't need to use all of the terminals on the hive, also it looks like there is an internal "link" wire, so you don't need to link the permanent live across.

Boiler connects to N and Heating On (Terminal 4)

Fusing the hive I suppose is an issue you might have to work around

Oil is usually fused at 5amp IME and probably after the timer in those cases .
