How will the new web differ from the old ones? This is a frequently asked question nowadays.

I see maxis screaming on every corner about the decentralized web to create complete anonymity and independence. In this article named "A Peep into the Decentralized Web of 00x-10x" on Mirror, a developer clearly explains why this approach is fundamentally wrong with examples. An exciting tour into the 00x-10x web history with some common sense thoughts and a pinch of memes. This piece will tend you to interesting thoughts, take a look.

I don't think anyone is in doubt to how difficult decentralization is, the article basically says hey you know that software you use each day, well corporations provide that, and the hardware it resides on, and if you take that away then UX becomes fairly basic.

But what's the alternative, continue on with the Amazons, Googles and Facebooks of this world increasing in power.

The only people that are interested in web 3.0 at this stage are nerds, but don't forget nerds built the Internet, so they can change it.
