Am doing a log of me picks to try make profit is me. I will try to confine me posts to me own picks up in here. There be a horse going later on today and me thinks she is one to beat in the race which she doth partaketh.

Logs be easy to do. Good thing about dem be t'fact that it's only the OP what is the main picker of picks in his log. Any contrarian views should be sanctioned (imo) , but that's me; seems as if it's the aggressors what get away scot-free.. Still an all, one does hope that one o them kernts do come on here to disparage poster No. 1, as is their wont; and though it don't sit well with me, it's okay, apparently.

Barry Hills ,one of the great English trainers(father of Michael,Richard,John) gave an interview on ATR a few years ago.Mike Cattermole(interviewer) asked him for tips on how he made money over the years on betting on horses.His first answer was ..He never bet on a horse that was odds on.That stuck in my mind and it's pretty good advice IMO.

too many e/w picks methinks here, #maybe even for a good day; but it's not a #good (ie an open looking race) day, as it looks as though it's Coroebus' ~ 8/11 race to lose,, FWIW the ew picks i'm considering are Light Infantry 28s, Lusail 22s, Maljoom 12/1, Mighty Ulysses 14/1, New Energy 50, Wexford Native 66/1, My Prospero 9/2,, 3 places - may be 4 tomorrow, but it looks highly unlikely Coroebus won't fill the one spot, so will leave this race off - for now at least..

a lottery and have nowt done yet,, looking at them at top of market, it seems they be mainly hurdlers, and therefore look opposable,,, Bring On The Night 4/1 , Arcadian Sunrise 11/2 , Pied Piper 6/1 & Marshall Plan ~ 9/1 are 4 i'd be thinking of laying for 4/5 plcs here,, t'latter pick Marshall Plan is not a hurdler and is under the care of Johnny G; he might be a bit big (if he drifts - 11s can be got atm) to consider laying for a place - would need to improve to be involved here imo; has never raced beyond 2m, where his best finishing position is (at 2miles) a lto 2nd on AW Stan/Slow at Ncs, and also has three 2nds over 14fs from racing at Chelmsford and Yarmouth.

Ones I'm liking as ew pokes atm are ROCK EAGLE 14/1 , THEMAXWECAN 66/1, TRIBAL ART 25/1 , #WHO DARES WINS 33/1 (only #if it rains/juice in grnd - #supposed to be a scorcher so likely no rain coming soon) , SCARAMANGA 25/1 & MAKE MY DAY 16/1,, done nowt of these yet tho,,, currently 5 places available with most books - 365 have 6 on offer,, 20 horses so am guessing there won't be a lot offering ew 1/5 for the first six home 2moro.. will likely back most of the 6 potentials mentioned in this para, but haven't done any yet,,

Am liking three (sadly all single figures) as potential ew bets here,, nowt did yet, but they look to have decent enuf chances: CADILLAC 6/1 , STAR SAFARI 9/1 & (last yr's winner) JUAN ELCANO 7/1,,, horses drawn 5,6,7 & 8 have very good recent records here - last 10yrs has seen 8 victories from those drawn from boxes 5 to 8, with the 5 box providing the winner for four out of the last six renewals.. my PP's (potential picks 😃) are drawn [in racecard order] 3,15 & 7 , so at least two look favourably drawn..

two i wants to be agin are Majestic Dawn 10/1 : seems not much good at this level (Listed) , likely wants a bitta juice in ground, and probably needs to lead; a potential plce-lay,,, and Regal Reality 8/1: long layoff at ~6mths, almost two years since last win, only the one win over this 10f trip, flopped over shorter at this meeting last year,, Ryan Moore on top, and the 7yr old come 2nd lto at Lingfield AW over this trip last December, but don't convince overall, and the gelding aint raced much in double figure fields,, would be an unlikely winner all told...

have did the three picks ew 1/5 4plcs - likely no bpg so them be t'odds o reward shud one prevail or a few gt placed

place-lay potentials: Stowell 5/1 - lightly raced, goes well at t'course, 3rd in Queen's Vase last year = good form, but race were ran slow enough,, only managed 4th at the course lto, but was ran over 1/2m shorter,, very short price - rather be against,,

Cleveland 7/4 - Nap for a place-lay,, very short price, no form on good to firm,, came 5th over 10f at Navan on penultimate outing, and followed that up with comprehensive victory (only by a neck, but he looked very likely as was cruising ~ 2fs out) in Chester Cup lto, but that was on good/gd to soft going and over 5fs further than today's race,, might win, but at best price 2/1 has loads to prove imo,,

Juan De Montalban 5/1 won lto at the course, but was Class 3 hcap and over 2f shorter,, he led or raced prominently for most of that race,, unlikely to do the same today, as a few like to lead,, price is v short for horse going up a grade,,

Bandinelli 10s: a winner at 1.5m and 1m6f from last August and Sept,, lightly raced and looks like another what wants to be to the fore..

nowt done yet here - might wait til later 'fore making me mind up,,
