I have a version of Ad-Aware free on my computer which I went to update. The update option links me to the following website to download it. I downloaded the free one and when I upload the file to VirusTotal before installing, it tells me there is a trojan virus within this download file called Trojan Shelma so obviously I didn't install this and deleted it.

Can anyone provide me to a reliable source to download the latest version of Ad-Aware free and also tell me what the latest version no. is. My current version is 9.0.7

Ask the Ad-Aware people why their update look like a virus and where the real one is. Why would you upload the update to VirusTotal. Probably a false positive

How do I stop adds from entering every page I open on my PC and laptop. This is a recent problem

and google say we will try not to show this add again when I delete it. BUT…….the same add appears immediately.

Is there a free add blocker that I can install?
