So my recommendation is to probably stay away from the 22/45, my son has a MKIII 22/45 and a MKIV SS Target Model, the difference is the lower, in the standard model the lower is stainless steel or in the case of blued still metal, the 22/45 is a composite and makes it very light, some people go for the 22/45 because of the angle and size of the grip, however popping on a after market grip will accommodate any hand size.

The standard full metal option on the non 22/45 is a game changer for me, either way if you purchase new you will be upgrading the innards to after market Volquarsten probably makes a big difference to the weight of the trigger and the crisp reset!
