National Express coach from London central to Gatwick

    Has anyone used this service? It says on their website it takes 2 hours, 25 mins .Looking for options for next week as there will be a rail strike on the day i return.

    any advice about taxis or minicabs from central London would be appreciated.

    Road transport to Gatwick is asking for trouble unless there is no alternative; unlike Heathrow, Stanstead or even Luton you have to get a lot further through suburban traffic. London minicab firms seem to have lived to using Uber. Lots will give you a fixed price fare and it would not usually be too expensive. Only issue is if you get held up etcz
