ESB Smart Meter Api?

    Does anyone know if there is a way to connect to ESB smart meters? The ESB website reads: "A Smart Meter contains a cellular transmitter, allowing it to communicate how much electricity is being used, and when."

    I'm wondering if there's an API that can be tapped in to to receive this meter information and display it in an App.

    The only way you can currently get this data is if your electricity provider gives it to you. Otherwise, you are out of luck.

    You can install a Shelly or other power meter near the meter as an alternative.
