Gas boiler isolation requirement

    Hi all,

I’ve seen a few threads regarding gas boiler electrical isolation and fuse spurs.

I was wondering what the isolation requirements were, where a boiler is located in a remote utility/shed. There is a switched fused spur, time clock and thermostat in the house, feeding power out to the boiler. So the boiler can be isolated from inside the house.

i will be updating wiring in the shed/utility and I’m considering fitting a 3 pole isolator (similar to a fan isolator), just to proved a local second method of isolation, but I don’t think this meds regs as they want to see a spur.
