Built-in wardrobes were removed today and mould discovered. This is on the outer wall in an apartment.

The plasterboard on the outer walls were stuck on with the dot & dab method.

What are my options here? Do i cut out the offending bit and replace, again using the dot & dab method or are there better options?

    Thanks in advance.

If your walls are Cavity/Hollow block, use Insulated plasterboards.

Not sure myself, the bad spots look like the plaster dabs, so I guess its more likely to be solid walls, but too much moisture..

Is there any way rain (overflowing gutters?) is penetrating the wall ? Cracks, missing render etc ?
