Hi there, I have a couple of questions about our KBC mortgage.

    1) We want to change our DD payment from our KBC current account to a different current account we have. Do we need to fill out a form to do this? I can't find anything online to say what is needed.

    2) As of end of April, our fixed rate term finished. We are currently variable. How do we go about getting a fixed rate with Bank of Ireland?

Edit to question 2) do we have to switch mortgages at this point to go fixed or is it treated as if our mortgage is with BoI?

You're still with KBC. You can still fix with them and change to BOI when that happens naturally or switch to someone else now.

Ask KBC about changing your direct debit. I think you just have to give them the new account details.

    Hi deesc,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

As correctly mentioned by Wheety, your mortgage is still managed by KBC and they can help with making any changes. We have information on our website here that you may find helpful.

    Thanks

    Tara
