Is there a cheaper time to use electricity?

And if so how does one know? Had a Smart Meter installed within the past year but it doesn't seem to 'tell me much'. Still with Electric Ireland/ESB. Advice appreciated S

Depends on your tariffs there's 24hr, day/nite
And there the smart tariff which has a peak 5-7 rate afaik as well as day and nite rates

Look like you need to install a night saver meter. I don't know if the Smart meter can be used for the same purpose.
