Thermostat on Gas Boiler (duration each section)

Hi there I'm enquiring how long a gas boiler is switch on according to the settings on the thermostat? The photo shows the type of thermostat I have. Second dial on the left. I'm sure each subsection is time dependent rather than temperature dependent. Thanks
