Caffe freddo shot

Hi

i was in Italy recently and I ordered a caffe freddo, I was expecting a cold coffee but I actually got a cold espresso shot. It was delicious. I do like a nice cold coffee but this was different to anything I have had before

it was a normal size espresso with a nice creamy top. Any ideas how to make this?

To make this at home, you can try pouring a freshly brewed espresso over ice and adding a splash of milk for a creamy top. You can also try adding a sweetener or flavor syrup if you like. Have fun experimenting!

Thanks. I often pour espresso over ice and steam it, followed by more ice and water. That makes a lovely tall cold coffee with a nice nitro style head. It has been mistaken for a Guinness in conference calls!!!

This coffee was different.
