How to Access Soccer

The Soccer Forum is a restricted access board under private groups. To access the forum posters need to request access and be added to the group by a soccer forum moderator.

The soccer forum is for discussion of the game of soccer/football. On the forum we have various threads to discuss game including threads dedicated to the league of Ireland, the Republic of Ireland National Team, other football leagues and threads to discuss specific teams.

On the forum you may encounter tribalism. We accept that is a natural part of the game however such tribalism can lead to problems if posters are seen to be trying to cause arguments. To maintain a certain standard of discussion our forum charter has been developed, over time, by the forum members. You will need to read trough the charter summary before requesting access but in simple terms we ask that posters make an effort to respect fellow members, respect the thread purpose and post in positive constructive manner. That does not mean posters have to agree with everyone else, healthy debate is very important, but posters must avoid deliberate disruption of the forum.

To access soccer:

• Before requesting access posters will have to be members of boards.ie for at least 1 month and also require at least 50 posts.

Please note that if a moderator believes a poster is a re-reg of a banned poster they will not have access provided. After access is provided and a poster appears to be a re-reg of a banned poster they will have access removed.
