US dollar cheque

I’m waiting for a dollar cheque to clear. Lodged it on the 30th may in bank of Ireland . Still not cleared. I’ve requested numerous call backs from the branch since the 12th of July. Have yet to get a call back. I’m a new customer. Is this normal proceedure.
