    Who are the two men?

The original man (old man)'s son?
And who is the other man? A brother?? Or manager?

Park was started by a local man. It is now being subsidised by a local business (I assume business also owned by the older man) the older man has now retired and the younger man is his son.

    Their website needs more focus.

It is advertising so many different things, they sound a bit desperate. They should get separate websites for each service, like cyclemillstreet or millstreetweddings. If you are looking for a wedding venue, you don't want to book a cycling park which happens to have an empty hall.

I don't like the new way of wrapping the program up.

It would be a good place for those natural burial sites where you get buried in a field, etc and there is no headstones or markers just a field of wild flowers etc

I think they are only legal in UK currently

Yeah I agree as someone said last week it feels very unfinished

Best of luck to Millstreet country park !!

Good luck to them, the cycling is a good start but they really need someone to keep pushing new ideas and follow them through.

It looks like a nice place, it would be a shame if they had to close it.

    That sounds lovely.

I liked your man's philosophy "we should leave the place in a better state than we find it". Fair play to him.

Were the boys on a wind-up with the crematorium  I find it really hard to believe there were actually serious

Other episodes involved the brothers practically putting bombs under the business owners to make them do stuff - these guys put a serious amount of effort in in what seemed like a very short time to get all those trails done!

Another nice outfit that I'd wish only well to :)

    Not long left...

"Hoteliers Francis and John Brennan help artist Leonie Finn, owner of Oranmore Castle in County Galway as she strives to make the building sustainable for future generations. The brothers soon realise that her plan to let out the handful of bedrooms is unrealistic, but are certain more money is to be made from the cottage in the grounds"

    :)

This series is gone off on a tangent, seems to be concentrating on much "bigger" businesses than the B&B's and small hotels of previous ones.

The last two episodes had very likeable subjects, wonder if that can keep up - or will the usual cranks and crackpots start to appear.....

That's quite a house to inherit, never mind to live in on an ongoing basis!

    Whoa

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,506 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

It's very well furnished for a place that's not actually lived in (just to contradict my earlier post!)

Surely this can only be rented for films and photo shoots

    Maybe weddings????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,653 ✭✭✭✭amdublin

    Or tours?

    Or cooking classes?

    The laugh of her!!! :D

That crochet throw would be gorgeous on top of plain white crisp bedlinen.
