There's a report about one of the businesses featured on the show this year, they are going well since Francis and John worked their magic

One Tinahely family's dream of running a thriving countryside business became a reality following participation in RTE's At Your Service, and four months after the programme aired, things are looking very good ...

'It was tough going but we are delighted that we did the programme because it has really helped the business.'

There's a rerun on at the moment. It's the CASA charity makeover. I never knew about this shop in Phibsboro.

I haven't seen it either. It must be a repeat - the charity restaurant they were relaunching has closed recently.

Might buy a hotel just so I can meet Francis . He is to hotels what Brian Kerr is to football commentary.

Ah bugger, when I saw this thread revived and the programme in the paper I thought it was a new series :(

Are RTE producing any new stuff lately? All that seems to be on is repeats!

There you go now, Francis Brennan has a book out called 'It's The Little Things: Francis Brennan's Guide To The Elegant life', and he is signing copies in Easons in O'Connell Street in Dublin this Saturday at 3pm

    http://www.easonedition.com/event/francis-brennan-its-the-little-things-francis-brennans-guide-to-life-eason-oconnell-st-book-signing/?instance_id=2936
He told the Herald that the book deals with many different matters, including dinner parties, personal appearance, social media and eating out.

"Manners begin at home," he said, adding that among the things parents should be teaching their children is to sit at the table while they are eating.

He also insisted that when eating out, people should treat waiters and waitresses with respect.

Francis, who owns The Park Hotel, Kenmare, with his brother John even provides tips on the correct way to position a toilet roll and the direction of your pillowcase.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was on with either Brendan or Ryan this weekend to plug it.

And that article also says they have just finished filming the new series of At Your Service which will be on air next Spring.

That quote from the article is so on the ball.

    That book sounds great!

I'm sooooooo tempted to go in! Representing the boardsies and all that, sure John and Francis love us!

Ah, you should. We need an Ambassador to tell him how much the Boardies like the show! You could ask him to come on with John and have a chat with us sometime. I'm tempted myself but I won't be around on Saturday.
Full of fun and personal memories, Francis will motivate you to pay attention to the small things that make a big difference.
