If your man isn't playing to the camera he has no business head on him at all.

"I had a dream" won't pay the bills

Hey amdublin, who won the signed book? I hope it went to a good home :)

Skid! Was only thinking this eve that I need to organise the competition.

Leave it with me, I'll get my thinking cap on and organise it for next week or week after! :)

    Breakfast looked good actually!

I've just stuck four sausages on the pan, and a egg.. dont have any pudding..

There is something odd about this episode... It was like he deliberately messed up the bedroom before Francis arrived.... Bed half made, lampshades deliberately tilted 45 degreess, alarm clock turned off, coax cable handing down off the wall...

The Yank is happy enough without the bar, I thought he'd throw a fit! I was looking forward to a bit of drama!

They should build a Leprechaun garden while their at it!

Are these guys boyfriend and boyfriend, as well as business partners?

It just seems strange that they both "have the dreams", normally in business partners there is one of them with their head screwed on.

Saying that, I'd want a bar as well!!!!!!!! :D

Agreed! Hate that! If you can't fake an extra effort at kitchen hygiene for the Tv cameras, it makes me wonder what you're doing with my sausages when the cameras aren't there!

They'll need some type of "kissing stone" in the bar......along with the shelelagh stick and I don't know maybe a Claddagh Proposal Garden

Strange to leave a Guesthouse in Dingle idle for years, I found it difficult to get rooms there last year.

You would think even a basic, tidy, place would do well (in the Summer anyway).

I believe it is acceptable kitchen hygiene to wash hands and prepare food.

I thought he said it was insignificant but I might have it wrong, my ears are fecked!
Your version makes more sense seeing as they are going ahead though

He was married with kids according to the other RTE show (which is worth a look, it's in the link I posted earlier).

Ah yeah you need a bar! Big time!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,657 ✭✭✭CountyHurler

Somebody needs to break it to him that Robert Mitchum is dead...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,964 ✭✭✭✭Thargor

I dont even drink that much and I wouldnt stay somewhere without a bar, you're on holiday ffs...

Way too much emphasis being placed on the actor staying there years ago, nobody cares.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,653 ✭✭✭✭amdublin

Ah Francis is so nice :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,657 ✭✭✭CountyHurler

They've given him a few ideas for his room...

    1. The bed is actually made..
    2. No live cables hanging down off the wall...
    3. Plug in the alarm clock...

    Who knew!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,963 ✭✭✭Meangadh

They are so unrealistic with this "bar". And they are waaaaaaaaaaay overestimating the interest people would have in Robert Mitchum.

In all fairness, most people over the age of 40 wouldn't really care or possibly even know who he was.

    No valance

    No lampshade

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,585 ✭✭✭baldbear

I wonder will they grow marijuana in a greenhouse out the back like Robert Mitchum did??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,713 ✭✭✭BabysCoffee

    Oh dear god....
