Looks like a nice place, but it must cost a fortune to maintain

I flippin hate those headpieces. The photos look well though.

The mother will need to open her mind up a bit and trust that they know what they're doing.

So Don't Tell The Bride Series 97 is following the same "Isn't the Groom an awful eejit?" script as every other year

    This place is fab!

What colour did the designer want?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,653 ✭✭✭✭amdublin

That yellow is horrendous. I would be disappointed with that as bridal suite.

    The ensuite is nice.
And the dressing room is a lovely concept.

    But the room.....no....

What colour did the designer want?

    I missed that.

Doubt it was that yocky yellow

    Was that chef Andrew Rudd?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 356 ✭✭Bobsammy

I don't like that yellow one bit. It's a fab house but they don't seem to understand what's needed for weddings.

What colour did the designer want?

I think it was a kind of greeny colour. Nicer than the yellow anyway.

    The house is good.

That bridal suite needs something special.

Bridal Suite was a big let down.

I really like At Your Service. There is massive potential as a wedding venue. Awww I had hoped they would change the outside colour, especially the door really looks awful like a mish mash.

Can I ask if any of you have been to any of the places featured in these programmes?

    Was that chef Andrew Rudd?

I thought it looked like him too. Wonder if it was him...

I suspect that could be because there's not much to update!

To be honest, a lot of the shows are predictable now. Unless some of the people involved are real characters it can be dull enough.

A good disagreement or a re-visit some months later would be better.

Ive worked in 4* and even a couple of 3* hotels where the regular rooms were way nicer than that bridal suite, bathrooms were twice the size and twice as nice aswell, that one looked like the ensuite my father built himself in my parents house.

Another ep that was just a bit of spring cleaning dressed up as a big turnaround by the Brennans, I suppose a half hour primetime ad will get them a bit of business though...

I think the bridal bedroom could have done with a 4 poster bed.

Bridal Suite was a big let down.

It's so boring! I wouldn't feel special as a bride staying there- and given how well the rest of the rooms looked, it's so bland compared to them.

Bridal Suite was a big let down.

A mirror and a new carpet! not much of a bridal suite!
