Request: improve this photo

Hi,

Took this on holidays in Rosscarbery (Warren's beach) on my mobile. I did some simple editing to try to reduce the glare/brightness of the sky. My aim is to try to make it look like a Giles Norman land/seascape.

Could anyone tweek it to improve it please & tell me what the steps were? I think that it has potential to be a very nice photo (large mount and black frame).

Nice photo. You could look at smoothening out the water to get a longer exposure look to make it look more “Giles”.

Nice photo, but the horizon would annoy me, you need to level it. After that I like Tech_Head's second option.

at the risk of sounding harsh, there's not a lot in the photo to improve; not much of interest, just a routine photo of a beach with no clear focal point.

I don't mind criticism at all! I think once framed (this is a quick virtual mock up) the photo looks better. (This is without horizon fixed):

You have to see the photo before you edit it.

It's a bit like farming. You won't get much without a bit of slurry and a few seeds in the ground. 😁

I doubt anything that is done to that photograph will stop my eyes bouncing around from one feature to another of the sea cliffs.
