Old Bank of England Notes

Hi, I found old sterling notes, where can i exchange them, can my local BOI do it?

Give them to someone going to the uk. Boi don’t want to hear about it.

If the note is that old it won't be any good in the UK either. They changed the 5, 10 and 20 pound notes in recent years to the new "plastic" ones so they need to go to the Bank of England afaik?

They are the bank of england not a high street bank. It's not like bank of ireland.

You can I believe go the main office in London and change the note there.

Postal service seems to be the easiest although its still a pain to provide the necessary ID and proof of address. As you are in Ireland they will only send a sterling cheque or pay sterling to your bank account.
