I can't seem to "Thanks" - a common problem for me. Anybody have a solution/explanation?

When I click thanks on the first post of a thread, it seems not to register, but then if you refresh the page, it turns out it has. All subsequent posts on a thread take my thanks instantly. I also can't view the thankers on an OP, but can on all the other posts. On a Mac, and same thing happens in Safari and Chrome. Just a new-boards bug, I guess.
