Cheers Myksyk, and shout to the HM, other shooters, and everyone who goes to the trouble of thanking posts in the thread.
I was sitting out in my back garden (Ennis, Clare) with my then-new Tamron 150-500 (Sony E mount) shooting a few swallows while I was having my lunch, when I spotted a bird waaaay off in the distance, gliding gracefully up very high. Something made me think it was a buzzard, and sure enough, when I cropped right in and brought out the detail a bit, it was. I need to get much closer next time.
