Which wine to buy for a former good Boss

Hi,

Please can anyone recommend a very good bottle of wine as a gift for my kind former boss and where i could get one locally.

Maximum budget is 50 euros. I'll great appreciate suggestions.

Is there an O'Briens off licence near you?

At O'Brien's Wines, you could get a nice box made up with 3 decent bottles for €50. Staff are helpful. Plus it looks nicer I think than handing over a single bottle of wine, imho.

My mam likes dry wine and I like sweet wine but for some reason we both agree on Mcguigan signature white wine so I would recommend this to play it safe.

Slight tweak to this suggestiom would be a twin box of matching wines from same producer eg a red and white. Just my opinion for a gift I think it creates a nicer look.

Any independent off licence should be able to sort this out also for you OP eg Martins in D3, McHughs D5, Molloys or Corkscrew in city centre or wines on the green just to name a few - if you are in Dublin.
