Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Clothes constantly smelling of mildew - should I get a new washing machine

I've had this issue for a couple of months now and it seems that no matter what I try, my clothes constantly smell of damp/mildew. I've deep cleaned the washing machine itself (drawer, inside drawer compartment, seals, drum, filter) and done a few service cleans, once with store-bought washing machine cleaner, once with vinegar and once with vinegar/baking soda mix. I've also attempted to use vinegar as a fabric softener as apparently traditional fabric softeners are terrible for the machine and vinegar works as a deodorizer, although this didn't work for me.

I'm renting so I'm not exactly sure how long the machine has been there but I reckon it could be 10+ years old. Should I just call it quits and buy a new one?
