Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sky Go app on Apple TV

Worth mentioning that this is now available. I know there’s been ways to get Sky Go on a TV before this - games consoles and the old solution of a PC/Mac with a HDMI cable. This might be a better solution for those who want their Sky package with them when they travel and indeed it gives you something approaching a Sky Q like (or maybe lite) interface.

You need the Multiscreen/Whole House package, ordinary Sky Go entitlement won’t do. No access to recordings even when on your home network it seems (you can do this with the iOS app, if you’ve Sky Q),

That’s so annoying that you can’t just use the normal Sky Go app on it. Was looking forward to it being added and all

We keep the Apple TV in a holiday home and it would’ve been ideal

Sky seems to be suffering, trying to differentiate the different products they have as they diversify from being just a TV Provider/Platform but now trying to justify the existence of products and preventing them from cannibalising each other.

I also think they want to avoid doing exactly what you wanted to do, a version of where someone pays the 'main' subscription and then gets extra boxes for family/friends and they split the cost so individually they get a significant discount.

Another part of it may be licencing, if SkyGo is seen as 'over the top' rather than as a closed platform
