FTH with overhead drop - want to move it internal - Reconnecting?

Looking for a little advice please from anyone who might know.....

I have FTH from an overhead drop. Cable then comes along the soffitt and down the front of the house.

I'd like to run the cable through the wall up high where it reaches the house, through the attic and down the internal wall back to the box.

I can do this bit but am wondering about reconnecting it to the white box inside.

It's not as simple as just unhooking it, re routing it and reconnecting it by any chance - is it?

If I was to do this, would it be easy enough if careful and gentle (i.e. cover end etc.) or a glourisously stupid move?

    TIA
