Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

Hoping someone can advise what I need to do as I cannot seem to find the answer on google.

i have a windows 11 os on Dell inspirion 15 laptop, I want to use two external monitors but disable the laptop screen while doing so?

i want to be able to plug the laptop in and close the lid but when I do so not with “do nothing when lid is closed” the other two monitors disappear.

    any advice welcome!

your post is unclear. Do you have the “do nothing when lid is closed” setting on or off?

Have you tried setting it up by pressing the Windows key + P. That should give you choices on how you want to use the monitors.

Right click on desktop and make one of the other monitors the main display?

Sorry it was on as I thought that would make the laptop screen unusable but keep the other two working.

yes but it only gives options to extend or duplicate but not to only show on the monitors

It should be located in the Power Management options in the Control Pannel.

You should be able to modify the behaviour of your laptop when the screen in closed.

I have it set up this way so it is possible. I have 'Do nothing' when lid is closed selected. I have also done this set up on the laptop screen. Right click on desktop for Display Settings
