Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm planning on getting my mother a dishwasher providing it's an easy enough job.(I've a few other bits to get and hope it's simple.)

Basically It will be located next to the sink. In general would it be easy to connect it to the mains and connect it to drain of the the sink? (So we avoid drilling holes, etc)

    I hope this makes sense.

When you say connect it to the mains I presume you mean the water , if so you will need a t joint to match the mains water pipe, probably a foot long of copper or qualpex pipe and a plumbing valve, it will depend on the age of the sink if it has the attachment for the waste, if it has don’t forget to remove the blank to let the waste water out

Yes, I'd no idea how to word it.

The sink was replaced last year.

Not sure what you mean by attachment for waste?

I'd be getting a professional to do. However I don't want it to be a big job. I'm sort of tied for time and was hoping to purchase a dishwasher Tomorrow.

    Thanks.

Newer sinks often have a spigot on the U-bend for adding a dishwasher waste pipe, like the one below.
