Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is the device the same if I buy the Google Chromecast with TV in the US versus in Ireland?

It will come with an American charger but other than that no difference. I have one from here and one from there and have swapped between them no issue

Perfect thanks! Just didn't want to bring it home and realise the software was locked to the US or similar.

Though obviously won't get the US content in Ireland

Can't fault the price in the US either think I paid 35 dollars for my one in a Best buy sale earlier in the year

As sioda mentioned just the plug will be different but you can replace this with any 3 pin USB plug you have or buy.

When you log into your (I presume) Irish account this is what effects your content and available apps. All the same apps and services will be available whether you bought it here or abroad.
