    Hi guys,

I'm looking for a set of bookshelf speakers for a home theater system. I already have the amp so just looking for a recommendation on the best set of speakers for movies and tv, with some music listening too. I plan for these to sit on the TV unit as I've no space for stands. Amp is limited to 2.0, so i'm going to stick with that for now and maybe upgrade that later when I want to move to 3.1 or eventually 5.1. My shortlist is:

    Q Acoustics 3030i

    Dali Spektor

    Mission LX-2 MK2

I have a set of Q Acoustics 3020s that I bought from you for music listening a few years back and love them. But I do wonder if the Dali or Missions would give a better movie experience (I currently have a set of second hand Mission 760s in my TV room and the sound from them is still good nearly 30 years on!)?

Final criteria is that whatever speaker I get, it must be available in black or grey.

Looking for recommendations and a best price in £ STG (including delivery to Ireland). I'll also need 5m of CA 300 symphony cable and 4 pairs of the CA premium banana plugs.

    Cheers,

    MM

    Hi mirrormatrix,

Thanks for the post and apologies for the delay getting back to you!

I still think out of the three speakers you've listed the Q Acoustics 3030is would give the best sound. They're a great movie set up as well as sounding good for music. With the larger cabinet and driver they'll also give much better bass than the 3010 and 3020 speakers so are a much better balanced speaker.

I currently have one pair available in black and I can offer a pair at £246 including delivery. I'm currently out of stock of the Symph 300 but I can offer 5m of Cambridge Ultra Micro and 4 pairs of plugs for an additional £31.50 so the total price including delivery would be £277.50

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    David
