Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Connecting insulated ducting to extractor fan

I plan on purchasing an insulated extractor fan duct and running it up through kitchen ceiling and into the cold attic where I will run it along the rafters to a vent on the soffit. The outlet on the fan is 150mm so my plan is to get the same ducting. To connect the pipe, can I just cut away the insulation a few inches at the end of the pipe, and then attach this end to the extractor using a hose clip?

150mm hose clip? OK but expensive I just use a plastic zip tie or in most case about 3 of them joined together.

Wake me up when it's all over.
