Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Island Swim & City Center Feedback

I was down in Limerick with family and friends for the Island Swim last weekend - from near CourtHouse, up the Abbey River & back down the Shannon to the start. Amazing event, the river was clean, countryside scenery out the back of the island field was lovely and coming back down the Shannon, under Thomond Bridge & past King John's castle was iconic.

Followed that by heading up to Catherine St / Little Catherine Street for Coffee's & Lunch and the place was buzzing. Jazz band outside Micky Martins, Choir up on Little Catherine st & everyone out enjoying themselves. All my friends were amazed, was not what they expected and all said they will be back again. It's a long way from the decrepit city center I left 30+ years ago.

It was also commented on that nobody felt threatened, no strung out drug users or gangs of lads, just a lovely family friendly atmosphere.

Looking forward to visiting again and seeing O'Connell St finished.
