Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Replacement Venetian Blind slats

My dog has managed to snap the ends of a couple of slats on my Venetian blinds. Looking online, it seems replacing blind slats is extremely straightforward:

So I'd be happy to do this myself. Has anyone done this or can recommend where to purchase replacement slats? Most of the companies I can find online seem to be UK based, would prefer to deal with Irish company for convenience. It is the plastic style blades I went for, not real wood if it matters.

I assume the slats can be cut to measure, and there is a tool available to punch the string hole? The blind brand is Luxaflex, but they only seem to deal with the trade and not consumer. My next port of call is to contact the blind installer, but from experience they will probably shoot me down so thought I'd check on here. Cheers!

In the end I contacted the blind company and they confirmed they can either send blind back to the manufacturer for repair or can get replacement slats so happy days. Just in case anyone comes across this thread in the future.
