Bad heel strike

Hi just to ask if anyone has suffered from very bad heel strike.I seem to be dragging my left foot when I run and wearing every shoe on the left so much so that I don't want to get another pair of vaporflys at the cost of them after a few runs.I purchased the Nike tempos thinking I might not wear them but I have.
