    With the long stretching shoreline of 3260km, Vietnam has many beach cities, but the most popular ones should be mentioned are Nha Trang, Danang, and Quy Nhon.  

    1 - Nha Trang 


    The beach city of Nha Trang is in the top most prominent ones in Vietnam, considered the paradise for relaxation with a large area of over 500km2, consisting of 19 islands, of which the largest is the island of Hon Tre. It is attractive with rugged mountains, beautiful beaches, and charming islands, which makes it a popular destination in Vietnam. Many places you can consider visiting on the journey to Vietnam are:

    Nha Trang beach 

    This must be the first place to mention in this list. The seven - kilometer stretch of beach is characterized by the glittering smooth white sand, crystal clear blue seawater, and the breezing coconut tree lines. Cool water water will definitely allure you to have a bath and relax. In addition, you can partake in a variety of funny activities like canoe riding, gliding, and parachute jumping, etc. 

    Po Nagar Cham Tower

    This is the ancient tower in the Central region of Vietnam with the Champa kingdom’s design. The ten - meter tower is captivating tourists by its musical performances of conventional dances of the Cham people, taken place at the foot of the Po Nagar tower. You will get to listen to the mysterious stories about the Po Nagar goddess and take beautiful photos here.

    Vinpearl Land Nha Trang 

    Vinpearl Land Nha Trang is a large-scale recreational park in Nha Trang city, featuring a huge variety of amazing games. This is also an off-the-beaten-track place, where you can immerse yourself in serene moments, sunbathing on the calm beach. The most attraction is the system of sea-crossing cable cars ranked the longest internationally, from which you have a broad view of Nha Trang bay, admiring the extraordinary scenery of the surroundings. 

    Opening hours: 8:30am - 9pm

    Entrance fee: 800, 000 VND/ person ($35.2)


    2 - Danang 

    Famous as the most worth-living city in Vietnam, Danang - the beach city in the South Central region is impressive for its landscapes of attractive beaches and steep mountains, and scrumptious dishes. Several places which should visit here are: 

    My Khe beach

    Listed as the top six most charming beaches globally by Forbes magazine, outstanding with clear blue water and modern facilities including marvelous hotels, top-notch resorts, and luxurious restaurants. At the beach, there are various activities you can join such as paragliding, fishing, and windsurfing, etc. Not only the beach of My Khe but also other beaches in Danang that have attracted many tourists for years. Some of them are Nam O beach, Non Nuoc beach, and Bac My An beach, etc. 

    Ba Na Hills 

    Ba Na Hills is a should-not-miss place when you pay a visit to Danang. Coming here, you will get to experience the sense of excitement inside the world’s longest cable car system and explore the unique architectural works in Sun World Ba Na Hill, the French Village, and the Golden Bridge.

    Dragon Bridge   

    Dragon Bridge has a unique dragon shape with a length of 666m and a width of 37.5m, crossing the Han River at Danang. The special thing is that the dragon can breathe out fire and spay water later, making a very impressive scene. This is considered the symbol of rapid development and the aspiration for a brighter future of the city. 


    3 - Quy Nhon 


    Quy Nhon is a city of Binh Dinh, which used to be the capital of the Champa kingdom. Quy Nhon is listed in the top most eye-catching beach cities in the South Central Coast with many ideal beaches such as Cat Tien, Nhon Hoi, Hai Giang,  etc. The city is a tourist attraction with many historical sites, natural wonders, and outstanding activities. There are a myriad of attractive places to visit in Quy Nhon: 

    Situated in the province of Binh Dinh, Quy Nhon is an appealing destination, which used to be the ancient capital of the Champa kingdom. It is ranked in the list of the most gorgeous beach cities in Vietnam with numerous heritage sites and natural wonders. Here are some typical places in Quy Nhon:

    Ky Co beach 

    Ky Co beach belongs to Nhon Ly Commune, located at the foot of Phuong Mai mountain. It is alluring people with a glittering golden sandy beach and crystal clear water, absolutely suitable for swimming and snorkeling. 

    Hon Kho island 

    This is one of the four most famous islands in Quy Nhon including Ky Co, Cu Lao Xanh, and Eo Gio. The island is characterized by gentle beaches, dotted with enormous rock blocks, and colorful coral reefs. The sea road and wooden bridge are outstanding “decorations” here which is a hot place for check-in. 

    Thap Doi (Twin Towers)

    The Hung Thanh Twin Towers or Sri Banoi are other names for Thap Doi (Twin Towers), located on Tran Hung Dao Road, Dong Da Ward with an area of 6,000m2, characterized by the lines of green trees and smooth grass lawns. This is in the 8 remaining Champa towers in Binh Dinh today.
