I have bought a Peugeot Rifter MPV, its basically the same as a Citroen Berlingo van but with seats in the back.

I'd like to get a Micro Camper Kit. They are also known as a boot jump.

Anyone have any advice after using one? Also, if anyone knows where I could get one, that would be great too. There doesnt seem to be anyone in Ireland doing them.

You will need to keep it registered as a private vehicle as these sort of things will not be insurable as campers in Ireland.

Thanks for heads-up. Its the sole family car, so has to be taxed privately anyway. These kits are not fixed to the vehicle and the seats dont need to be removed. So its still a 'car'.

I have a very homemade version of this for my car. Great for days out at the beach. Mine doesn't have a pull out drawer at the back. I'd highly recommend you get one of those if you're cooking. I'm always looking for somewhere to put my gas cooker. Campal are one gang who do them in the UK, they ship. They're pretty expensive from what I remember. I googled and went to B&Q (they cut for free there) and then started nailing. The one on DoneDeal there seems like a good price.

Yes, there's a guy in Gort doing them out of birch. Really good value as well https://www.donedeal.ie/campers-for-sale/mini-micro-camper-unit/26885669
